The Julius Baer Foundation Germany was founded in 2019 in Frankfurt and is dedicated to promoting education, nature and environmental conservation, international understanding, and culture. Its current activities focus on four core areas:

• Promoting vocational training projects,
• Preserving and reforesting the forest ecosystem,
• Supporting sustainable alternatives to plastic use and
• Reducing wealth and opportunity inequalities.

Since its founding, the foundation has supported the initiative “Joblinge e.V.”, which accompanies young people on their way to finding a job. For each individual, this represents a perspective on an independent life. For society, it enables a sustainable integration into the labor market.

Furthermore, the foundation is committed to preserving the forest. Through reforestation initiatives across the country, it not only makes an active contribution to climate protection but also takes responsibility for preserving the forest as a living and recreational space for the entire society.

As the second foundation of the Julius Baer Group, it can draw on the knowledge and experience of the Julius Baer Foundation, founded in Zurich in 1965.
